Motorcycles, Hockey, and Adoptions! Oh my!
Our motorcycle hadn't been running for about two years, and we were finally able to get it fixed. We had a break in the weather, so I was able to ride it back from the shop.
Oh. My. God.
The wind, the speed, the smell of the earth. Sex on wheels, is all I'm sayin'.
I had a goal in our last game. A nice little backhand to the far corner of the net. We played pretty well, kept the pressure on in their end, and won 3-0.
Soooooooo, had our second home study appointment. It's going well, and rather fast. I expect to be finished by the end of March. I'm still hopeful that we'll be able to bring them home by the end of the year. Of course, since it's an international adoption, all my plans will go to hell and a hand basket at least once, so I'm trying not to get too cocky.
I'm looking after Howie Katt. He was so happy to see me, he practically humped my toque. While it was on my head. Yeah. Don't ask. Or do, if you're into that kind of thing.

My first travel team game in over a month (damn back injury), a victory 2-0. I had one assist. We were a bit slow and had a tendency to jumble-fuck, but we were playing a team we could get away with that. We've got a game Sunday, and if we play like that again, no way we'll win.

Ok, meme time, 'cause what good is a blog, without a meme? That's crazy talk like having Christopher Robin without Pooh.
Pick the first literary quote and movie quote to pop into your head.
O brave new world! That has such wonderful people in it!
-Miranda in Shakespeare's The Tempest
What we have here is, failure...to communicate.
-The Warden in Cool Hand Luke
Apparently, the glass is both half full and half empty.
All Right, Damn it, I'm Here...
Ms. Lady Jane Scarlett has been after me to post, so here I am.
I'll take truth, Alex, for $1000.
I'm watching Dancing with the Stars.
I feel so dirty.
