I toil away in big Pharma by day, paper chase an international adoption by night, and squeeze in hockey whenever possible. Plus, I'm pretty, witty and gay.

Motorcycles, Hockey, and Adoptions! Oh my!

Our motorcycle hadn't been running for about two years, and we were finally able to get it fixed. We had a break in the weather, so I was able to ride it back from the shop.

Oh. My. God.

The wind, the speed, the smell of the earth. Sex on wheels, is all I'm sayin'.

I had a goal in our last game. A nice little backhand to the far corner of the net. We played pretty well, kept the pressure on in their end, and won 3-0.

Soooooooo, had our second home study appointment. It's going well, and rather fast. I expect to be finished by the end of March. I'm still hopeful that we'll be able to bring them home by the end of the year. Of course, since it's an international adoption, all my plans will go to hell and a hand basket at least once, so I'm trying not to get too cocky.

I'm looking after Howie Katt. He was so happy to see me, he practically humped my toque. While it was on my head. Yeah. Don't ask. Or do, if you're into that kind of thing.
